INITIATE The Future. Networks | Impact | Professionalism - Australia's youth leadership conference, July 9
INITIATE The Future is a place to be to build NETWORKS, showcase your projects to create real IMPACT and gain the PROFESSIONALISM needed to run your projects or organisations. As the biggest youth leadership conference to be run by AIESEC Australia Ltd., we aim to connect 500 young leaders and provide the support and skills YOU need to succeed.
We already have delegates registering from ALL states and territories in Australia. Some of them run well known organisations, like Red Cross Australia, Australia-China Youth Association, Global Poverty Project, CAYLUS, Tangentyere Council and many more. Some of them are making their first steps in developing their leadership and launching new initiatives.
This conference will be a great place for attendees to network and meet such speakers like The Hon Bob Carr, Dr Michael Wesley from The Lowy Institute, NSW Minister Peter Primrose, CEO of Inspire Foundation Kerry Graham and others.
Young people will be able to promote their projects, that solve youth, sustainability and social inclusion (integration of immigrants and indigenous people) issues. This will be facilitated in workshops such as Youth Empowerment organised by Australian Learning and Teaching Council, Youth Leadership by AIESEC Australia, Inclusion of Immigrants by The Lowy Institute, Climate Change by OzGREEN.
Young leaders will learn skills that will help in managing their projects and increase their employ-ability. A flow of workshops will be delivered by professional organisations that are willing to share their expertise in project, financial, volunteer management, marketing, sponsorship and fundraising.
